Plotline:
The Earth has been attacked twice by aliens, and humanity has nearly been wiped out. The government breeds children for war. Nobody is allowed to have more than two children, but the Wiggins were so close. They had a third: Ender Wiggin. His manipulative brother, Peter, failed and didn't go to battle school. His mild sister, Valentine, also failed. Ender did not fail. He goes to battle school, and, not surprisingly, the early form of training takes place as "games". Ender wins all the games, a prodigy of battle school.
